Cola's Cucina Italiana

Colas LogoNormally we stick to recommending New Jersey restaurants but a friend who lives in the city recently invited me for lunch at Cola’s. It’s too good of a place not to pass on to Garden State Woman readers.

This BYOB side walk café type spot offers amazingly high quality Italian fare with most lunch items costing less than $7. Two of us split a Tomato and Mozzarella Salad that was as fresh and good as it gets.

Then we each ordered Veal Bolognese which was really exceptional. We were wrestling each other to finish the last piece of the great Italian bread! There isn’t anything fancy about Cola’s storefront but the service was top notch, the food exceptional and the prices unbelievable. Try it the next time you are in the city and looking for a good spot for lunch. We are going back for dinner one night soon.

The Next Time You Are in New York Try Cola’s Cucina Italiana for lunch @ 148 8th Avenue (between 17th and 18th). P: 212-633-8020
