An Exciting Joint Program for New Jersey High School Women Students Considering a Business Education and Career
The Garden State Woman Education Foundation and
Rutgers University Business School (Newark campus) are partnering to put on a really important interactive, pre-college learning event on May 3rd to provide key information to high school women students about the opportunities in pursuing a business education and career.
Admissions is on a FREE first come basis and registrations required in advance.
One of the key points to be made on the 3rd is that almost any kind of career has an important business component to it. We will drive home the message home by including over 22 women from diverse career paths sharing their experiences.

This first of its kind special learning experience is being sponsored by the leading national accounting firm of Rothstein Kass and Morristown-based leading matrimonial law firm of Townsend Tomaio and Newmark. Principals Miri Foster from Rothstein Kass and Laurie Newmark with TTN will be talking about careers in their professions.
Attendees
This exceptional event is exclusively for high school women students and their guidance counselors.
Agenda
Registration begins at 8:30am and the interactive program runs until about 2:30pm. Complimentary refreshments and lunch are provided.
So, it's a full day featuring over 20 successful women keynote presenters, panelists and moderators delivering:
+Keynote addresses including one by Joetta Clark Diggs, four-time Olympian
+An interactive session providing networking tips that students can apply throughout the day meeting with each other and the presenters.
Four panel discusisons featuring women:
-Executives with major organizations
-Owners of their own businesses, true entrepreneurial women
-In the early stages of their business careers
-Business school students at Rutgers, Newark describing their college selection process, experiences and career goals.
The Rutgers Admissions leaders will talk about what the university looks for when recruiting high school students for their highly competitive business school program.

Include pharmaceuticals, public relations and marketing, law, pets supply, on-line retailing, accounting, non-profits, coaching, sports, financial services, media and much more.
