Barbara Krajkowski – Founder, Executive Officer & Producing Artistic Director, Women’s Theater Company

Barbara Krajkowski is a woman who truly inspires many young and mature women to fulfill their potential in theater. In 1993, she founded a theater space offering a creative, educational environment for emerging and established women theater artists to develop, practice and produce their craft. Through main stage, educational outreach, and new works development programs, the Women's Theater Company supports the development of women artists, promotes new works in the American theater, and provides entertaining and enriching productions for growing audiences.
As a role model, Barbara is reliable and supportive of all those around her. She has been dedicated to the Arts nearly her entire life and her energy and commitment to the theater and women artists has inspired many.
As a motivator, Barbara is skilled at encouraging people to cultivate their passion. Whether working with her students or actors in a production, Barbara fosters an environment to stretch to reach their aspirations.
Barbara is an adjunct professor at William Paterson University, holding a Masters in Communication from William Paterson and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In 2008, The Arts Council of the Morris Area honored Barbara with an Arts Advocate Award.
