Girl Scouts Honor 2010 Women of Distinction
The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore will honor five Monmouth and Ocean county women as Women of Distinction on April 13, 2010.
The honorees, examples of women making a difference in their communities, are: Virginia S. Bauer, Red Bank; Sandy S. Broughton, Jackson; Susan M. Kelly, Brielle; Barbara J. McMorrow, Freehold; and Ann L. Noble, Wall.
"Our 2010 honorees are women who are resourceful, confident and competent. They pursue excellence personally and professionally; and make a commitment to family, career and community," said Tom Hayes, co-chair of the 2010 Women of Distinction committee and director of customer and community relations from New Jersey Natural Gas Company.
The women will be celebrated at 6 p.m. at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.
