2023 FIFA Women's World Cup

This Friday night, July 21, 2023, FOX at 9 pm, will broadcast the first World Cup Soccer Match for the USA National Women's Team against Vietnam. The USA is the defending champion of the soccer world cup.

New Jersey is represented on the team by Casey Murphy of Bridgewater who was the leading goalkeeper for Rutgers Women's soccer, and Alana Cook of Far Hills and Stanford University. Both are freshman recruits who may see limited playing time. Chantelle Swaby and Tiernny Wiltshire, also Rutgers Alumni, will be making their appearances.
